Tayla Seymour

Tayla's passion for health and human movement grew from her love of sports, in particular cheerleading. Up until 2020 she had competed in cheerleading for 18 years, represented Australia 4 times; and coached all ages and abilities for 9 years. Throughout this time she encountered her fair share of injuries and physical setbacks. Though it was when she noticed how many of her young students saw injuries, soreness and dysfunctional bodies as ‘just a part of sport’, that she felt she wanted to do more to help.

To further her knowledge around human movement, Tayla completed her Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science. From this, she chose to direct her focus toward manual therapies, and therefore, her Diploma of Remedial Massage. She instantly found it extremely rewarding seeing the results of the techniques and skills she regularly utilised, such as; deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, cupping, stretching, and relaxation massage.

She gets so much joy out of helping her patients realise their body’s potential, and see that pain and dysfunction does not have to get in the way of them playing sports, enjoying their hobbies, or just simply living an active lifestyle. When Tayla isn't working, she loves to get out on the water for a wakeboard, off the grid for an adventure, or head on a peaceful hike through nature.
