Benefits of Massage

Massage assists wellness and is about staying healthy.

In this day and age when everyone leads such busy and frantic lifestyles, it’s easy to become increasingly tired and rundown. Finally your immune system cannot keep up with your pace and you become ill.

These days we don’t have time to be sick; it’s just too inconvenient, and who wants to feel unwell.

Massage on a regular basis will assist in relaxing tense muscles, improve muscle tone, increase range of motion, flexibility, keep you free from disease and able to do all the things that you want and need to do in your busy life.

Regular massage, be it either weekly, fortnightly or once a month, helps increase circulation, removes toxins from the body and assists your immune system. Just think, this is all done whilst you lie back and enjoy the treatment.

Coupled with regular massage, to assist you on your path to wellness, include some gentle exercise like walking. This would only need to be done 3 – 4 times a week for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Now that winter is upon us, don’t reduce the amount of water you consume.  You need to keep your water levels up to keep your muscles hydrated.  This keeps helps to keep your muscles toned and flexible.. Add to this a good diet including cereals, fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and poultry. Don’t forget to include 6 – 8 glasses of water a day. and try to cut down on the salt intake.

You will feel rejuvenated and energised and no one will be able to stop you. This will also keep you fit and healthy, booth your immune system and reduce the chance of getting run down or ill.
